Giant’s Causeway
There are some things that are so well known that nothing much needs to be said about them. The UNESCO World Heritage Site at the Giant’s Causeway could well be one of these, but there is always something that you don’t know and a visit to the National Trust Visitors’ Centre may surprise and amaze you. Apart from that, a visit to the causeway itself is worth the time – entrance is free. What may not be worth it is the sky high parking prices in the council run cark park. Alternatively you can walk from Portballintrae (to the west of the causeway), from Dunseverick Castle (to the east) or for the very energetic, all the way from Ballintoy.
