Benone Beach stretches for over 7 miles from Downhill to where it meets Magilligan Strand near the mouth of Lough Foyle. It is a superb beach that is popular with anyone who loves watersports. Jetskis are allowed, but are segregated from swimmers for safety reasons. There is vehicle access at both Downhill and Benone (past the tourist complex).
