Travelling far afield to see the sights the world has to offer is great. If you want to see tigers in their natural habitat or the aurora borealis, then you need to travel to get there ... but don't forget what your own doorstep has to offer.

This photograph of Saltburn Pier in North Yorkshire is being exhibited at the "Take-a-View Landscape Photographer of the Year" exhibition in the National Theatre in London and also being published in the Awards book!
